Puerto Vallarta

okay if you don't wanna read it all, just jump to the SURF part, it really was the highlight of my trip

I just got back from a family vacation in Puerto Vallarta, for you who don't know what that is, Puerto Vallarta is a nice beach here in México, well that's what they say, in my opinion, the beach is not that nice, if you want to go to a nice beach, nothing beats the Caribbean, Cancun is your best choice. But anyways I enjoyed the trip, the hotel was nice, and there's no down side of all included, right?.
This was the view from my hotel room, I took the pictures with my mac, since I forgot my camera.. how could I?
Even thought the all included days were nice and relaxing the highlight of my trip was Sayulita, which is a beach near puerto vallarta that's not actually in the bay, so the waves hit the beach perfectly, what makes it an ideal surfing location. Since my firsts visits to some California's beaches I had been excited about taking a surfing lesson sometime, so knowing that I was going to have a gamily vacation in Puerto Vallarta I did my fair research and found this "Sayulita" beach's reviews online.

SURF
When we got to "Sayulita" beach it was much nicer that Puerto's beach, I saw a beautiful boy sitting in what seemed a tropical outdoors office with a bunch of surfboard lined down, and I didn't thought twice about heading in that direction. My mom had settled in a little tent by the end of the beach that sold coconut water, and after agreeing to what he was gonna pay for my lesson my dad decided to join her.
I decided to prepare and amuse myself by asking questions to this 25 year old red blooded/tall/blonde/muscular/tanned/hippie/Tennessee boy, I later found out after a small talk that he had ended up moving there haunting the surfing waves. I was ready to have a lesson from him in no time, but then when we'd agreed that I was in fact going to take the lesson he called the real instructor in, biggest dissappointment of my life when I saw an old/bald/fat/young wannabe man who said I should "cover my head with my arms to cover my pretty face in case I fell cause the rocks were really near the surface"; okay, that sounds cruel, but it really broke my perfect surfing lesson fantasy. Anyways, while I was taking my land lesson, and watching the people surfing, I got a little freaked out, was it gonna be hard? but then I saw a woman with what seemed her three daughters (two of then about 10 years old or less) approach my new surf coach and told him they would like to get a lesson later when I had finished mine, that gave me courage. When we hit the water he turned out to be a pretty good teacher, he made small talk, he was not so well spoken but I got the pointers he wanted to teach, and there I was, the first attempt was amazing, I actually stood up and rode the wave, he was like "whaat?", beginners luck I guess, since the three following attempts I managed to fall on my butt in the water, maybe because I had to swim back like 20 meters to catch a new wave and my arms didn't seem to obey after a while. But I think I got the idea by the end of my lesson.

TEQUILA
After this awesome workout I fell asleep in the car, then we stopped by a town named Tequila, guess what they make over there?, yeah I guess I don't have to tell you, but I can tell you that now I'm very illustrated on the Tequila-making industry and fabrication, the kinds, the production, etc. My parents bought a couple of bottles to bring them back as gifts, and after that we headed back home. Oh and I have to mention that after my surfing lesson I discovered that I hadn't put enough sun block on the back of my legs, and given that that was the most exposed part of my skin, no wonder why it got all red, I got over it and I'm happy with my tan.
